Organized by the Institute of Food Technology, 2030 Brazil Protein Outlook Conference will take place alongside with the fair.
ANUTEC BRAZIL 2020, International Meat and Animal Protein Suppliers Trade Show, takes place from 26th to 28th May, at the Expo Trade Center in Curitiba (PR). The event reaches its fourth edition featuring the 2030 Brazil Protein Outlook Conference, which promises to bring strategic information about the animal protein industry with an emphasis on the challenges and perspectives for the industry development and growth in Brazil. Koelnmesse organises the forum in partnership with the Institute of Food Technology (Ital), which gathers the largest industry associations and experts from the animal protein production chain, as it is a key sector for the Brazilian economy.
“Our role, as organizers of ANUTEC BRAZIL, is to showcase the latest news in technology and solutions for the animal protein industry, including discussions about the scenarios regarding such an important market for the Brazilian economy. The visitors will have access to the main national and international suppliers of the industry in the exhibiting area, while in the conference area we have broadened the perspectives for those who want to invest assertively in the area”, says Cassiano Facchinetti, director of Koelnmesse Brazil. “It is essential to partner with leading organizations in order to deepen the discussions on relevant issues, such as challenges and opportunities in the agrifood industry. The Institute of Food Technology fits this philosophy perfectly”, he adds.
Ital is linked to São Paulo’s Agency for Agribusiness Technology (Apta) from the São Paulo State Department of Agriculture and Food Supply and it is a reference in the Brazilian market in research, development, technological assistance, innovation and knowledge dissemination in the food and beverage industry regarding packaging, processing, preservation and safety.
“It’s a pleasure for Ital to continue working in partnership with Koelnmesse at ANUTEC and organise for the second time the main conference programme of the event. Brazil Protein Outlook 2030 – The future of protein is strategically shaped for this edition”, says Luis Madi, Ital’s director of institutional affairs.
On the first day of the conference, in addition to the official opening, it is included a panel on the economic and political perspectives of protein for 2030 presented by agents from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). “We will present forecasts and at least five success cases on the protein business for the next decade, both animal and vegetable”, adds Madi.
