ANUTEC BRAZIL 2020, International Trade Fair of Suppliers for the Meat and Animal Protein Industries, which will take place from May 26 to 28, at Expo Trade Center, in Curitiba (PR), presents, in its fourth edition, the Brazil Protein Outlook 2030 Congress, which promises to provide participants with strategic information on the animal protein segment, highlighting the challenges and perspectives for the development and growth of the industry in Brazil. Organized by Koelnmesse, in partnership with the Institute of Food Technology (Ital), the forum will bring together the most relevant associations in the sector and specialists in the animal protein production chain, a key sector for the Brazilian economy.
“Our role, as organizers of ANUTEC BRAZIL, is to show the most modern technology and solutions for the animal protein segment, including discussions on the landscape that involves a vital market for the national economy. In the exhibition area, the visitor has at his disposal the main national and international suppliers of the sector, while in the congress area, we broaden the horizons of those who intend to invest assertively in the area,” says Cassiano Facchinetti, director of Koelnmesse Brazil. “To deepen the debate on relevant issues, such as challenges and opportunities in the agri-food industry, it is essential to maintain partnerships with renowned organizations. The Institute of Food Technology fits perfectly into this philosophy”, he adds.
Linked to the São Paulo Agribusiness Technology Agency (Apta), of the São Paulo State Secretary of Agriculture and Supply, Ital is a reference in the national market in carrying out research, development, technological assistance, innovation and dissemination of knowledge in the areas of packaging, transformation, conservation and food and beverage safety.
“It is a pleasure for Ital to continue working with Koelnmesse at ANUTEC, organizing for the second time the main congress of the event. Brazil Protein Outlook 2030 – The future of protein is configured in a very strategic way this edition”, says Luis Madi, director of institutional affairs at Ital.
On the first day of the congress, for example, in addition to the official opening, there will be a panel on the economic and political perspectives of protein for 2030, with panelists from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). Sectorial entities such as the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná (Fiep) and the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) will also be represented.
“We will bring the business scenario of the protein sector to the next decade, both animal and vegetable, an opportunity in which at least five success stories should be gathered,” adds Madi.
